Mrs. Leola Davis

From Sherry McCumber-Kahn:
Sadly, I have to report that we have lost our neighbor, Mrs. Leola Davis. Apparently, she died in the early morning hours of Jan 12. I understand that there will not be a service for her. However, it has been suggested that we do something in her memory at the park. I will find out from Park and Tree what kind of planting might be available to plant in her honor. I believe that it is usually asked that a donation is made. I will follow up on this and provide further information. Also, her good friend, Beth, who lives on the 700 block of Maupas is surely extremely saddened by this. If you know Beth and feel comfortable approaching her, you might want to offer your condolences and ask if there is anything we can do. Let me know if you find out anything. Also, I know that there were several cats that Mrs. Davis fed. I know one in particular, that Alan & I call “Scruffy” was on her sidewalk today. If anyone knows what is being done to look after them, please email me to let me know know.
